Though I think this vase is Czech, all I can say about the maker is that I think I can exclude Rindskopf. Image four shows it with two Rindskopf vases of a similar décor but the colours, deep red and acid yellow, are very different.
The cut rim discloses four layers and the outer edge has been bevelled. The base is slightly dished with wear that has taken the gloss off the extreme edge and an area that was a little high.
I think I'm left with Kralik or Welz, but I'd be interested in any views on this.
Height 16 cm./6.25 inches
I would say Kralik with that unphotographable sheen? Others will be more knowledgeable as I can get mixed up with the dimensions on this form, which can be quite telling.
It was certainly unphotographable in the usual location. This décor appears on Craig's site amongst ball vases, so I think you are right. To my shame I've only just looked!
This isn't exactly ball shaped though.....unless you play rugby!
Ian, first image but different interior colour.

I've never seen this decor before Peggy... It's beautiful, unusual, and I love it!
Thank you, Rick. It's one I like for much the same reasons.
judging by the base color and the pattern of the maroon I would guess welz. Ive seen two or three examples in welz shapes- this shape actually looks Kralik though
I now think the candle sticks are likely Welz based on the Décor. Same décor found in triple thorn vases.......
