From an original that had ben made into a postcard…..Pittston, PA Lehigh Valley Station looking NW.
Though The Valley was primarily a freight, especially an Anthracite coal hauler, it did have a sizable passenger service also. This photo is probably from the mid-early 50s, and The LV's passenger service would end in 1960.
Sadly, the entire railroad went belly up in the 1970s…...
