Any idea as to origin? I was told this was early Cherokee, but it lacks the pattern detail I associate with those baskets? It is 12" tall and the main part is about 9" square. The finishing on the top looks similar to other Cherokee baskets, but again, pattern/color are plainer than other Rivercane baskets I've seen. Any help identifying possible origin would be appreciated. Thanks.

      Not Cherokee, probably from Asia
