Need help identifying this vintage depose saw, it's about four and three-quarters inches in length, with finger crank Dan lever to apply pressure. I have tried to identify and have not found any luck with finding out any info on this tool or any pictures whatsoever. If somebody has any info or knows of a link I would appreciate it if you can send me anything about it, thank you. My email THAND83@GMAIL.COM

This is a tool doctors use to safely split a ring on someone's swollen finger if it can't be slid off the finger. The hooked part goes under the ring and the blade is cranked until the ring is sawn through. Then the ring can be spread wide enough to come off. It can also be used if a ring has been crushed onto a finger and can't be removed. It's easier than chopping the finger off and gluing it back on.
