I found this oil painting at the end of a dead end road. Someone was cleaning out their attic and dumped this painting and tons of other stuff. The painting was sealed in an old wooden box with a customs tag on it that said "Returned US Merchandise" and was dated 1959. The painting had old German newspaper wrapped around the edges. I have asked many people (including professionals) if they recognize the signature and no one can identify it. I'm guessing it is an unknown artist from the early/mid 1900s who will forever be unknown.
Do you by chance recognize the signature?? I am so intrigued by this painting because it's such a mystery!
