Hello everyone.
Just had to show these to you......just arrived today!!! I love them!!
Absolutely gorgeous 15ct gold and pearl earrings with leaves, flower and a couple of berries on them. The screws even have an applied leaf on them!!
Would have to be Arts and Crafts era surely..... and 15ct gold was discontinued in 1932.......
I have made a few notes on the pictures re what I think could be important clues as to the maker!!! I could be totally wrong but hopefully someone will recognize the maker!!
Look forward to hearing all thoughts and comments on these. Thanks, Judy
Thanks for the love vetraio50.....really appreciated!
These are lovely, Judy, but I have my doubts about finding the name of the maker. An Image search didn't turn up anything. :-((((
I would be excited too! Gorgeous work in these Judy.
Thanks Bonnie and Karen .....I know it will be difficult to identify but I am hoping that Jewels1900 & others will swing by and take a look.........
Glad you both think they are great and thanks for the love as well.

Hi TassieDevil, I've put this posting up of mine, they are similar earrings. The leaves and flowers are similar to yours. I thought mine were Rhoda Wager. I hope it helps.
Hi TassieDevil, I've been looking at your earrings again, not the same maker has mine, you might be very lucky, I'm looking forward to the views of Jewel1900 and kiwipaul. They are extremely beautiful.
Hi Peasejean, thanks for doing that for me, that's great!!! To me they are all starting to look the same lol I have looked at so many in the last week!!! I don't expect them to be Wager......but would be interested to know if they are Australian or British made with the 15ct gold......I do love them though regardless of finding the maker!
Thanks again for your help I really appreciate you taking the time to do so and we will just keep our fingers crossed for a while !!! I have another piece that I don't expect to be Wager either which I will post in the next couple of weeks......
What a find! The leaf on back is very unusual, sign it is a real artist who made them!
Hoping too Paul and Jewels1900 will have an id :-)
Thanks Jean.....yes I would be interested in what they have to say too and thanks for the love...Regards, Judy
Kyra, thank you and for the love....much appreciated.....we will all hold our breath shall we!!!

Appreciate the love aura...thank you!!
Beautiful pearls and I love that shade of old gold, nice get, Judy, I hope you get the answer you're looking for. :)
Thank you Katherine for your lovely comment......I agree with you, old gold just looks and feels wonderful!!!
Many thanks AmatoorPikr, katherine, Ken, Caperkid and vetraio50 for the love and interest.........much appreciated!!
Just been reading through the Wager pages in the Powerhouse Museum site again......according to Rhoda Wager's niece Dorothy Judge, Rhoda when she was making gold pieces, only ever used 18ct gold....... so that rules her out I would think!!
Shucks, sorry, Judy, too bad. They are still beautiful earrings.
No worries thanks Katherine lol .......I bought them because I loved them first and foremost.....as I do with all my things.......
Hi Tassie. These are Aussie. I don't know who the maker is but I've seen this work before.
Have a look at these on Tadema, they have similar shaped & made flowers. http://www.tademagallery.com/jewellery/d/rhoda-wager-wager-arts-%26-crafts-earrings/207790
Don't get too excited though, Tandema's earrings are defiantly not by the Wagers and they do have some difference to yours. Without wishing to diss your lovely earrings, the quality of the work is nowhere near good enough to be the Wagers. You'll know this yourself by comparing them to your ring.
Also, I think Paul had a ring that also might be by the same maker. An opal one, check his posts.
I have some Wager earrings, I'll post them in a mo (been promising Paul for a while).
Thanks Jewels for having a look.......yes....thought they would be Australian. Of course I could see they were not Wager quality as you say.....and I believe from the powerhouse museum that Rhoda did not use 15ct gold...only 18ct. So not disappointed at all, still love them......just posted on the offchance that you may have identified these ones and Paul's. They all do look similar don't they and all are beautiful !! Maybe one day as you say more records of Aus jewellers will come to light for us....we can only hope!!!
Thanks Jewels for you help...it is very much appreciated, Judy
