Circa 1940-1950 this platform rocker has carved wood, suspect made out of oak. With the cushions, it's very comfy. Does anyone know anything about these chairs and how much they are worth. I know the seat has Elasta Seat, New Bedford, MA Really good condition but are unable to find any historical information or value of this chair. Can anyone help?

      Hello Aratkins,
Have you found any leads or additional information about your rocker? I just rescued a matching rocker and chair of similar design. The sides of my set, however, are slat like rather the beautiful design of yours.
      Kind regards,
      Brandon

Don't know if you're still around, but a google image search on vintage platform rockers might give you some good leads to follow.

      CW doesn't give appraisals.

      All the best.
