Found this cutie today. Appears to be a composition or plaster type of material.
The Kewpie doll has glued-on brown hair. The arms move but the legs are fused as one piece on a black stand.
There is a hole on the top of the head. I don't know if that is damage or part of the manufacturing process. The hair covers it.
No marks that I could find.
Approximately 12 inches.
Does anyone recognize the maker? or Age?

Chalkware carnival kewpie. She is GREAT condition. Sometimes called a flapper kewpie or a betty boop kewpie. YOURS is SO CUTE! (Some are not so much...)
