    I KNOW THESE ARE SCISSORS BUT THEY APPARENTLY WERE FOR A RELIGIOUS PURPOSE OR....... THERE IS A CRUCIFIXTION ON THE SHANK . THEY LOOK TO OF BEEN GOLD PLATED AT ONE TIME. THOMAS MFG. CO NY IS JUST LEGIBLE ON THE ONE SIDE. ANY IDEA AS TO THE PURPOSE OR USE OF THESE? THEY ARE WELL MADE WITH CLOSE TOLERANCE AND EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP. 6 1/4 INCHES IN LENGTH. THANKS.
