    This miniature is about 3 inches tall. The woman I purchased it from said it belonged to her Great Grandmother. The stamp is throwing me off. Does any one recognize it?

      Is does say Limoges on the underside, so yes it is from the Limoges area. I will see what i can find out on the maker's mark

      I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but, according to marks4antiques.com, of which I’m a member, this is not old, but made between 1980-2000 in a Limoges decorating studio
