I found this vase today. I am not sure what era it is from or what it is called, but, it seemed special. The vase is about 7.5 inches from base to tip. Is this Art Nouveau? The bottom is marked with the number 41 83. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Let me know if you think I need to move it to another category.

      Haeger maybe?

      Hello Celiene,

The way that the one side comes to a point is interesting. I searched Haeger and didn't come up with anything. I'll keep looking, what would you call the finish or color? It's kindof brown metallic?

LH 83, Looks to be home made ceramics

Ahhh, possibly why I can't find anything like it. It's very cool though and will be great with my collections. Thanks for ideas Dizzydave and Celiene.

I think it's an artistic leaping Dolphin.
Not 41 83 - LH 83. LH are the maker's initials and 83 would be for 1983. I agree with Dizzy that this is a home made ceramic studio piece.
