I inherited this Flute from my Grandmother. She worked for many years for a Husband and Wife who were Doctors. My grandmother's best friend was the wife. When they passed away their Estate went to her. They had no heirs. I am currently wanting to sell this flute to pay for tuition for my children. It is in good condition but needs repaired. I have played the flute for 20 + years and know of an outstanding repairman who repairs all of the professional Flute players' instruments. Is this a flute that I should have repaired before I sell, or sell as is. I have researched playable Orkons selling for 1,000-1,300 dollars vs as is selling for 500.00. What are your opinions? Also, Is there more than one kind of Orkon Flute? I have the one made by Powel.
