Not certain exactly what this is, but it looks beverage related. It looks great on my mantle. It is 10" high with the lid.
I found this at an auction last week for five dollars. Looks to be copper and brass hammered over tin. The perforations on the lid are throwing me off. There is no indication that a spout was ever in place.
I am not sure what kind of metal the handle is made of, but it is not very rusted for its age.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?
