I have found a box full of ceramics that were made by my husband's mother and grandmother; a two piece carriage, four identical horses, and four dance hall girls. Since these are all crafters pieces would they be collectable to non-family members?
The only way you would know that would be to put them up for sale. Are you planning to have a garage sale sometime soon? That would be the ideal setting.
For now I am just making up Craig'sListings. Once I figure out what everything is worth I will try eBay, but for now I'm doing the "FREE" site.
Once the house sells I'll have to have a garage sale, but until then I can take my time and try to get good prices. But after the house sells everything has to go, so we can liquidate the estate once and for all.
These look like vintage pieces to me, I should think they'd be worth a few dollars on eBay, or if you have a vintage venue of some sort in your town or city you can try them there. Very well made for home craft pieces!
His grandmother was a very talented lady. She just was not established as an artist. We have plates & wall paintings of her up on our walls.

What else can you call them?
