this 1 arrived last week. the blade shows a bit of pitting in 1 area that wont clean up w/o ruining its 3/16 in. thick blade.
I really like how solid it is with the 4 brass pins. and I like the style of the blade.
the sabre monarch knives weren't the best of the german knives made during that time, but its still a very solid knife. its also a different blade design than my others. im trying to keep a variation of designs in my small collection.
ive read this particular brand of knives was far more common in the japan made versions. hopefully, its rarity will be an asset that keeps it collectible for yrs to come
