This was at the same yard sale where I purchased the silver spoons.It was only 5.00 so I took a chance on it being silver as it is unmarked .The workmanship on this is just beautiful with an all over design of birds in the reeds.
This is lovely! Judging from the color of the inside, I would say this is silver plated.
Such a nice bowl to let birds eat out of ... just kidding :) It's a nicely detailed piece and for only $5? Great find!

I believe this is Indian Silver and tested as so. I have one of these bowls and also puchased as part of a set, like a sugar bowl.
Mine I know is marked India Silver, and has identical top rim but may differ on the bottom.
