I tried rotating picture but can't seem to do it. I am desperately trying to find out the history of this couch. (My boyfriend wants to get rid of it and I don't) Only thing I was told was that it is suppose to be well over 100 years old from Holland (or a nearby village) Germany. It is 4ft 7inches tall (the top part is like a little shelf, but is part of the sofa) and it is 6ft 6inches in length. The 2nd picture is the right side from an angle-hopefully you'll be able to rotate it. The last picture is the back of the sofa showing how the pieces basically interlock with each other. Please help me with my dilemma. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time. Amy

I think it would be considered a Biedermeier style settee.

This would also be considered a hall settee.
