This is appealing because blue is under represented in Welz Bohemian glass and because I have two others in this family.

BEAUTIFUL!!

I agree, sklo; this is a lovely color; what a great find! :)
I adore the central medallions. As if a bit of spatter, shape, twist and frilly feet is not enough!
how interesting the first time I saw this type of shape
Thank you, scott.
Michelle, thanks, interesting to see the varietions.
This glass can be so OTT, Karen. There, I said it.....
kivatinitz, I think in time there will prove to be more shapes as yet undiscovered.
Another beauty Peggy! I love the last pic too!
Rick, the last pic was there to show how the angle of ribs on the blue one results in an irregular pattern around the medallion compared with the pink ones. Probably not the mould maker's best day!
LOL... And I thought you were giving us an artistic picture with the two on the end slightly turned in. Regardless, that's the one I love!
That's the one I love too....
I should explain that I'd chosen the photos with that in mind much earlier in the day. This however was the third post , I was getting tired and I just went to bed!
So beautiful. Not affordable in the states but they are lovely!! :)
Hi OGF, an interesting comment. Here (UK) there's any amount of this early Welz but a dearth of Art Deco Welz. As yet we can only guess why that is. Thanks for the compliment too:)
