I don't know what is a right name for this shape. Is it a bowl? Chalet? When I tried to google it, similar glass came up, especially Murano and some Czech glass. The glass is 9'' tall, same length and 5.5'' wide. The bottom shows wear. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks :)

Very Nice. In my opinion I would say it is ALTAGLASS - Made in Medicine Hat Alberta, CANADA in the mid years. The Splatter, design and the base ALL remind me of their work. For Example see these piece:

*** Personally, I feel quite confident this is what it is .....

Rose - thank you for your effort to solve the mystery! I looked up Altaglass, and there are a lots of similarities between their glass and this bowl.

Rose, if you are so sure you must be right! I'm not an expert and never heard about ALTAGLASS before, but the same base convinced me too. So this mystery is solved thanks to you :)
And thanks to everybody for the love clicks!

Thank you for your posts... Don't worry about the photos - they are good. I checked some other Altaglass pieces on the net and the style is the same.
