      What you may have is an original J.A. Ausman patented platform reclining rocking chair with slide out footrest. I have one quite similar to yours & is currently getting reupholstered. Here is a link to the chair I believe you have:

      Sorry, but I have no idea what a rocker such as this would be worth.
      I found mine sitting curbside waiting for the trash truck; I knew it was "old" and said, "not yet, you're going home with me." :D

      Mine does not have a footrest but will look for places
      It may have hooked. The rocking mechanism is cast iron pieces that fit top and bottom. Is yourss The decking arms have circular Springs and the bottom line as initially a pressure forms seat. I also found mine at a street side sale

      I also have this glider. Found 50 years ago. Have no idea where this glider was made. So happy to find someone with this glider. If any one can give me a clue who is the maker.
