    I've managed to clean this up...It was packed away with Candle Holders & other Tins that had rusted from damp....
    I was about to toss it....then noticed a beautiful but strange pattern all over it....Thought it was Brass but as I cleaned it...it started to look more n more like silver...not sure but it is a solid piece...no holes...just dents (see pics)

    Do the pics trigger some memory for anyone as it what this cone type apparatus could have been used for...what it may be made of....& a timeframe as to when this was used...

      Car vase. Look up antique car vase. That would be my guess. Or one for a Columbarium...
