This is a sign found in an old opera house that was getting torn down. The sign is metal nailed onto a wood frame. Measures approximately 6 foot by 3 foot. I believe the sign to have been made between 1936 to 1939? The gold can debuted in 1936 & they changed the shield on the A & eagle design in 1939 to just stripes. This sign has the stars & stripes shield. Funny but sad story is the triangle piece that has been cut off the sign was found riveted to some heating ductwork to patch a hole in the old opera house! Any information you might know about this sign please comment. Appreciate it!! CHEERS ALL!!!
