Hello. I have had this jack knife for years. Before I retired, I spent most of my life in the dairy and beef business.
I can't remember how I came by this jack knife, but I can't remember when I didn't have it.
I'm wondering if any folks here can give me any information about it's history.
We used to sell our cattle through the Southwest Commission Yard at the old Union Stock Yards south of Los Angeles years ago. And I think one of the commission salesmen gave the knife to me when I was a little boy.
At any rate, I'd appreciate any information that anyone might be able to give me on this knife. Sincerely, Jim Schwindt jakenhyde@hotmail.com

What is on the blade? Any makers marks?

Celiene, the only marks on the blade are three numbers at the base of the large(it has two blades) blade. They are difficult to make out, but the are either 730 or 780. No other markings anywhere on the knife except the imprints shown in the pictures I posted. Jim S.

I've discovered more information about this jackknife. At the base of the small blade is stamped Keen Kutter. The number at the base of the large blade is, indeed, 730. I don't know if the 730 is the model number or if it is a serial number.
