I would like to know what it is worth! This was my grandpa's and now it belongs to my dad! My dad wants to show it off and find out what it is worth.

If this is tin, I would gues $70 to $80 at least. I bought a lot my toys @ Woolworths so I love the subject...
Well, here is what you have: This is actually a Marx toy from the '50s. This piece would be worth $80 on a really bad day at auction, and probably $200 on a great day.
Oops! This one might not be the Marx item I thought at first. Marx made a very similar truck, but I don't see the Marx emblem on yours and the Marx manufactured truck should be more detailed. If this one is Marx (look for a stamp on the bottom) then I would stand by the previously stated price. If not, probably $40-$50ish.
Ah hah, just as I suspected. Check out this one listed on Ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com/Woolworths-Tractor-Trailer-Semi-Truck-1950s-Marx-Toys-/360324604542?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item53e505227e .. I'd say yours is a '70s repro of the original Marx version. I saw it and got excited before I looked at the pics closely. Too bad. It's still a nice display piece though.
