Dark Amber bottle, repro or original?

I found this at an estate sale along with many other bottles. The bottom has a patent date of Nov 23 1887. It has the same raised decoration around entire bottle and no other words or numbers other then what you see in the picture. I need to know if its a reproduction or original and any other info about a maker or what was in it would be awesome. A value would be great as well. Thanks in advance!
