Here are two favorite dishes. The first was given to me by a family friend who lived to be 103 years old! That was 20 years ago. He gave the dish to me because it belonged to his mother and she and I shared the name Mary! I have some other items that were hers. I guess I am blessed to be named Mary. ;)
The second dish was given to us by my husband's aunt along with a set of china. It is pink depression glass with gold trim and the serving spoon or scoop either came with the dish or was added?
Again, these pieces mean the more to me because of who owned them and the story they carry.

the small bowl is New Martinsville Glass Co. #707 'Horseshoe Medallion' c1908.
The pink set is known as Elegant Glass, which spans before and after the depression era. These sets sometimes included under plates and were called mayonnaise sets.
Once more, I appreciate your interest and information in identifying my things. I know a little. I know a valued piece when I see one. However, I've not bothered with any detail until now. And I have such a broad field of interests from a rusty old tool to a sparkling piece of glass!

Love the pink Elegant Glass, it is beautiful. I have a mayonnaise 'spoon' in pink, but no gorgeous bowl to go with it!
