    Hi,

I found a beautiful white milk glass cake plate with a heart design at my local Goodwill for $4.99. Perfect size for my homemade Italian Cheesecakes. This one is a keeper.
There is a marking on the bottom of the plate, the number 15.
Is there a meaning to the number 15 as if this is part of a desert set which this is piece number 15? Also, how old?
    Measures: 13" inches.

    Thank you,

    Rita

Thank you TallCakes. Would you know what the 15 represents? I thought maybe there were several pieces to a desert set as mentioned. I am hoping the plate matches my Moms 8 piece place setting of desert plates which we used growing up.

smaller 8" plates were made in this pattern. not sure about the number 15 but makers did sometimes number molds to facilitate locating bad molds when defects would show up in production.
