It reminds me of scavo glass. That's not really my area so I can't tell you whether it's an older piece or not (and the scavo technique itself would make that more difficult to determine). If it were mine, I'd look at things like the wear pattern on the bottom to estimate the age.

I agree with SWF on the scavo finish. Like your vase I suspect modern Chinese, but it may be Spanish.
Thanks a lot for the replies, it is very chalky inside like if it has had flowers in for many years, bought it in a charity shop, so proberly it's not that new, the wear at the bottom i can not determine...
