Has anyone come across this particular horse and carriage music box?

      Correction Bentwaters England
    3. Celiene Celiene, 8 years ago
It's most likely a Belgian Draft horse. He should be marked somewhere.
    4. Celiene Celiene, 8 years ago
What does it say oder the door? Whose wagon?
    5. Celiene Celiene, 8 years ago
I believe someone was stationed at the R.A.F. station at Bentwaters from 1983-1986, and made this. Anyone can purchase those music box movements. This look handmade & one of a kind. That is why I believe the horse must be marked on his own.

Who ever's name is over the door is who made it.

      It's fantastic.

This is to all that responded this far The McIntyres Wagon. I bought it at an antique store in 93 the person who had it has passed away. No one by the name McIntyre locally. Maybe they are from England? In keeping hopeful that someone knows. There are no markings what so ever on the horse.

I think the horse is a Beswick Shire Horse. Since it is an R.A.F. (Royal Air Force) station, someone name McIntyre made it while stationed there. He could have come from anywhere in the UK.

Would you please share it with the others who have done some research. There are people who most probably did, but had not come up with anything. That's kind of what we do 'round here.

I'm sorry I wasn't trying to isolate I'm new to this I keep trying to delete a photo to replace with the pic with the mark. Its not allowing me to put on a pic in its place. Any suggestions?

Lauda is marked on the horses right hind leg. How can I send this pic on here? Please advise.

Thanks so much for letting us know - that's cool. I think you can edit your original photos and remove one of them, then replace with another. Or you can reach one of the CW staff that will tell you how. Just go to the contact button at the bottom, send them a quick email - they'll get right back to you. Or....someone will come along soon and let you know how to do it.
Good job finding that mark. Have you googled the name yet?

If you look on line for a Lauda - you'll be inundated with F1 Driver, Niki Lauder and Ferrari F1 race cars etc. (Used to do some work at one of the race tracks when Lauda was racing.)
Models of horses will work, or you can search on Pinterest.

You can change your pics by edit item-remove one pic-save item-edit item-upload pic-save item, et voilà! :-)

To get them posted in right position, if posted from a smart phone, crop a little with your editor before posting, they will be fine !

      Nice horse and van!!!

Oh my Thank you all for your help. I am going to post more pics. If it doesn't work I will start a fresh post. I will do my best to figure out changing pics. This really has me intrigued. I know I have to be realistic that I may never find who made this. I will say whoever made this is very talented. Thanks to everyone again.
