If I chose the right picture, this is a penny from the World's Fair in Chicago in 1933. My parents picked up 2 of these at the Fair. These were pennies that were rolled under a lot of pressure to show the image of "Chicago World's Fair" a clear image of a building, identified as "Federal Building". The opposite side is blank except for outlines of a few words from the penny.
I believe it is illegal to destroy U.S. money like this. Oh, well. My father would have been 27 at the time & mother 22.
Now, category. How about "China" ? Bottles ? Staff will change it anyway ! LOL !

Pretty neat! They are called elongated coin and were legal.

Neat, they have a machine that makes these at Ye Old Curiosity Shop in Seattle. No the same image though. I had collected a few in my childhood.

WOW ! This crowd sure is easy to please ! The thought of people collecting these never even crossed my mind. I appreciate it that so many people appreciated this. I'm not taking into consideration "sympathy votes". LOL !!

They have machines in most tourist areas in the US that smashes the pennies and puts a stamp on it for the area. I have lots of them...somewhere. Must be legal. :)

OGF, your gov't is so broke, that they probably want you to destroy it so they can make more worthless "counterfeits" ! LOL !!
