I have two necklace & earring sets. One red & one green, neither have markings on them. These were part of a vast collection of costume jewelry from my late mothers inventory, but have been sold for a lot less than I had hoped...

Very 1950s/1960s. Both sets look like glass - cold to the touch?

The green ones do feel cool like glass, but the red ones don't.

Can you see any seams anywhere on the red beads? I am wondering if they might be Bakelite rather than just plastic. Plastic has visible seams where it was put into the mold - Bakelite has none.
