I have various rhinestones & miscellaneous jewelry pieces that do not have markings on them.
These were part of a vast collection of costume jewelry from my late mothers inventory, and some pieces have been sold for a lot less than I had hoped...
The rhinestone jewelry is beautiful - dates from the 1950s or 1960s. That big clip is a dress clip, which are normally found in pairs. No idea about those two button design bits on the left. The heart brooch looks like it has writing on the back. Can't see it properly due to the flash reflection.
Thanks Efesgirl!
I got a better picture of the heart.
The rhinestones stuff has similar pieces as those button pieces, so what are they?
The dress clip is my favourite. Love the rhinestones as well. Could I ask where you live? Also, have you got yourself a jewellers loupe yet, or a good magnifying glass they would help with the research.
I live in Derby, KS & no I do not have a loupe, but I have grabbed my husbands magnifying glass a few times when Efesgirl sees something in my posts. I need her eye!
I see now that it was just matrixing that made it look like there was writing on the heart brooch. Sometimes we are fooled by photos!
I really don't know what those things are; maybe they are supposed to attach to the top of a shoe somehow.
That big necklace - a stunner!
I found another Rhinestone Jem... & yes photos can be very deceiving!
Thanks Efesgirl & lentilka11 for taking the time to look at my post & commenting!
OH, I do like the idea of the shoe jewelry - that makes sense!
Thanks again Efesgirl!!! You ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
