This pottery beetle or bug is a real interesting itemHe measures 6 inches long and the coloration and details on this creature is amazing .Im assuming that it is a paperweight. There is a monogram on the bottom that looks like 2 TT together but I'm probably reading it wrong.Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!

It kind of looks like a cicada sculpture.

      Couldn't find the artist.

AmatoorPikr is right - it's a cicada. I did an Image search but didn't find one like yours.

Agree, probably French. Check Sicard for similar.

Long shot, but Grand Feu Art Pottery (1912-18) of LA Calif. used a "TT" mark on art ware. If that pans out, you have a most exceptional find.
