These urns belonged to my great grandmother, on the base is printed "Hand painted in France", I have been told they may be transfer ware by Johnson Brothers. I would love to confirm the makers mark on the underside of the urns. They are approx. 16 6/8 inches tall and 5 inches wide at the handles.
The J.B.H mark is the same as those found on many of the bookends and wares here on CW championed by RLWINDLE: J. B. Hirsch.
Joseph B. Hirsch began the New York Art Bronze Works in Manhattan’s lower east side in 1907. He imported pieces from French foundries and sold them to the US market.

When looking at JB Hirsch items on line I don't see anything that fits into the category of my urns nor can I find a confirmation of the makers mark....do you know where I can confirm the makers mark as shown in the the photo above?
