For me, this piece is a reminder that you can't judge a book, by it's cover. I picked this up from the table at the Estate Sale, it really didn't look like much. The head was shaped in the way that Viking glass does some of their birds. The bottom isn't smoothed out and it's full of lines and cracks. I mostly liked it because it's slag glass. It sat around for a week and last night I started the research. I found another shaped like it, but in a non-slag yellow and the information said it was Murano glass in Uranium. I wondered, grabbed my UV light, lo and behold this one lit up like a Christmas tree. So I re-learned the old lesson, you can't judge a book.......
3 3/4" Tall,
3 3/4" Long.
Thanks for stopping by.
It's very gracefully shaped, and I love the tooling marks. Uranium was a bonus Rick!

Thank you StacyEW for the Love and comment. I am glad to hear that my swan isn't one of a kind. I would have liked to learn if it was Uranium Glass. Thanks.
