Hello there I have an antique Ansonia clock. This was passed onto me by my family and I have no idea anything about it. I was hoping that maybe from these pictures someone with some knowledge of these great clocks could shed some light. I was hoping to find out maybe the name of it or the age roughly of it. I can tell you this my grandparents had some really cool early 19th to late 19th century antiques. This comes with the original key and penjulum. It also has a label in the back of the clock that says Ansonia clock co.The clock still works well but it does have some wear on the back. Thanks if you have any information it would be appreciated.
Here's a great website for Ansonia... http://www.antiqueansoniaclocks.com/Ansonia-Model-0001.php

Go here and post it. Someone will know the model http://mb.nawcc.org/forumdisplay.php?f=9
Thanks to the referal site. I was informed that this clock is most likely a Ansonia Neptune circa 1883. With the Pendulum made from Mark Davies who at 1 time worked for them before he went on to make his own clocks. Thanks for all the help.
You're very welcome!!
I have an Ansonia Mantel Clock made in 1879. Label on back is very hard to read, but it has in bold letters "BOLIVIA". I have tried finding it on a list or a picture. Anyone who knows of this type of clock or where I can find a picture of it,,,please let me know!
