Just a few hours & we celebrate, - something. Let's see ! The royalty was killed off. Royalty was put back in. Then kicked out again. Each region of France has a diff. history but we luv them anyway. They won the American Revolution for the rebels & then were scorned by them. Their history is a real chore to follow, but they have been very tolerant of us pagans who don't speak their language. I hope nobody takes my jokes about the French seriously, as it is just in jest. "Some of my best friends are French !" LOL !! I do have respect for them.
OK, pix ! First 2 are an Asa Waters (1837?) pistol of mine that I loaned to the French museum in Marigot, St. Martin that they used in their monthly.
Then me shooting one of my blunderbusses. The last pic is of Jacky trying to decide on what to shoot. Me, or the target ! She leaves tomorrow for Berlin & we haven't sent warnings ! Berlin can maybe survive Jacky, but I will know the streets (& especially me!) of St. Maarten are safer for several months !
Now, what do I put this under ? Lamps ?

Best Bastille Day event I witnessed was the fireworks display in Quebec City. That was years ago, and I don't know if they still go all out like that.

My business is at the French side airport & I had to work this morning. I then decided to take a hash brownie tour since traffic was real light over there. Seems half the French are celebrating on the Dutch side ! Everything is closed on the French side !! LOL !! Phil, that's the skeet club's range. We have a regular gun club range now nearby. It has shelter, storage rooms, elec. target trolleys & all. € 200 per yr. membership.
Well so happy to see these blunderbuss masterpieces at any range, I imagine pirates when I see these !

OK, Phil. It's been over 3 yrs. since I posted pix of the 2 buss's. Should I reposte them for the FNG's. They ARE my pride & joy down here (on this lonely, miserable island, LOL!!). A friend from the States with a Barrett .50 rifle has shot them & says they kick more than the Barrett !
Ex-girlfriend ! She went nut-so & flew back to Berlin today (I hope). WWII may be considered just an irritation to Berlin after her visit! Not moving back in with me ! Good in bed & bad in the head !!!! I know staff ! "Not fb" ! Sorry !
