Looking for some help with this piece actually. Found it dirt cheap in an antique store, bought it because I thought it could be a original painting. The seller claims it is a water color??? Not so sure....I inspected it outside of the frame, it does appear to be paint on silk which is attached to a glossy paper and then a thicker oak tag- type paper.
Some research brings up similar paintings depicting battle scenes, ceremonies, etc. Wondering if anyone knows about how old the piece is, and if it is Mughal Dynasty or a replica. Size is about 24" by 18". Thanks!!!
