As collections develop, we find themes - and mine would seem to be a love for what I can't find locally! Whether these décors were too cutting edge for the British, or whether our own home grown glass and ceramic industries were providing what people wanted, I don't know (but I suspect largely the latter).
This is from the US so marked. It is 20.5cm high.

I don't know quite enough to support the statement, other than we have a very thriving ceramic industry in the 1920s/30s and an established glass industry. I may be entirely mistaken.

The pale pink glass with the deep blue is a beautiful combination. Really nice, Ian!

In a word.....Ethereal. By far the best bambus I've seen.

You are right, it is very hard to find this glass here. The US clearly imported great quantities of bohemian glass as just a basic search on ebay.com will illustrate. But I have a major issue with the postage from the US which is mindbogingly expensive - I just don't go there.

And even worse Phil, to retrieve my parcel from Royal Mail, I was charged £14 which they said was Excise Duty and a Handling Charge!

I found this interesting too, I have noticed that some countries have an abundance of certain type pieces but s scarcity in other types, my guess is certain pieces were made for some countries exclusively. Other colors for the crystal base are blue, smoke, light green - cool vase
