I Saw This Table Lamp Several Years Ago And It Got My Attention. Has A Very Large Hand Blown Globe Reflecting A Rainbow-Like Color Scheme. When Lit, A Round Light Corona Appears To Hover Between The Top And Bottom Of The Fixture.
Those Who Have Seen The Lamp Think It May Be From An Italian Designer, However, I Can Find No Others By Any Of The Designers I've Researched On-Line.
If Anyone Has Any Maker Information On This Lamp, I'd Greatly Appreciate Having It Passed Along.
Thanks For Looking.
P.S. Removed Bulb From Fixture (See Additional Photos) Revealing Manufacturer's Label, Thomas Industries, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Underwriter's Laboratory Portable Lamp Issue Number D-4052, And IBEW "Union Made" Label Series H20523710.
Question: Can The Approximate Time Frame For This Lamp's Production Be Gleaned From Any Of The Above Labels? Thomas Industries Is Still In Business And Manufactures Modern Light Fixtures, In Addition To Many Other Non-Light Products.
Thanks for Any Help Here, And Thanks To Those Who've Already commented.
NEW YORK? IS THAT SOMETHING ON LAMP?
