I first should admit that i agree totally that it is forbidden to do business with ivory nowadays. But with antique pieces i don't have such a big problem.... in germany it will be forbidden at all to sell ivory in future... at least as far as i know
My guess is that this piece is from the 1920s even similar pieces are attributed to the 19th century by sellers...?
