I started to collect cannetille type jewellery, I love their dainty look. This brooch is my newest addition - bought it in a charity shop few hours ago. It is two inches wide and has no marks. Cannetille jewellery is made usually from lower grade silver (thanks Efesgirl for this info :))
I know it's impossible to pinpoint the exact age and origin, but any thoughts are appreciated.
I will hazard a guess and say not later than mid-century. This is a really pretty brooch.
