This fantastic bowl is part of a series of heavy vases and bowls made with broad applied handles beginning in 1936 (and probably for a few years after, according to Bohemian Glass 1880-1940 (Cantz).
This seems to be part of a series that was made for an unknown English customer of the Danish firm Hornsleth, Copenhagen (Google at your own risk - there is a risqué bar by that name there today, apparently) - but the correspondence clearly indicates that vessels in brilliant opal with broad brilliant opal handles is designated as "Ausführung 1", at least from this series. So this late series Ausf. designation may not be an official Loetz decor designation - it could just be "style number one" within that series.
