    No markings (uncleaned) gold color I'm sure it's brass. Hole has small ball that goes through to lock. I think..... it's from 1910-1920 ish? Any ideas? Was a relatives who lived in San Francisco. I think.... it has foil underneath stone which may just be glass or ?

      Definitely brass, as it has verdigris (green stuff) on it. That is a reaction to skin oils. The stone is glass. Real stones would not be foil backed. Could be 1920s/1930s. It has an unusual closure clasp.
