I got this from a nice lady having a garage sale. She got it as a wedding present, but she wouldn't say how long ago that was. I figure it to be late 60's or early 70's. She said it was eastern Europe. It has lots of baked gold, both shiny and matte, some areas of frosting on the glass, ground stopper and on the lower part of the decanter there is a large area of embossed design in the gold.
Thanks for stopping by.
Wow, this is nice, and the color!

Thanks Brunswick, appreciate the photography compliment. Always thinking about ways to improve the presentation.
It is 1950s/60s chanelling earlier design. I think that Northern Czechoslovakia would be the source? Blue is a rarer colour.
The decanter's shape is very pleasing.

Thank you Caperkid, I have to admit that I'm much happier with this shade of blue, than I would be with a red. Thanks guy.
