I found this little sake cup at Goodwill yesterday. There is writing all over it - what looks like 4 poems repeated. maybe it is a koan? or the sacred heart sutra or something. i'd love to know! does anyone recognize the mark? i think it's Japanese, but it could easily be Chinese in a Japanese style too.

The mark if Kutani, and from the style I would date if from 1950 to 1960. Could be later.
