this 1 is a nice find.
got a few other voos sheriff knives. 1 is mint uncarried , the other 1, 1 cleaned up and its in the door panel of my sons truck. this 1 is going in the door of my Tahoe.
only took 2 pics, ill add 2 more when ive finished it. its @ 10.5 in. long and my guess is from the late 50s to early 60s time frame. I haven't researched its age. feel free to correct me if im wrong.
well. decided not to sand this 1 much at all. I did clean it up good enough to see that I spelled loffe incorrectly. lol
I like some of the patina im seeing on this 1 . although my terrible photography doesn't show much.
this sheath, btw, is knife marked. pvt allen w Hendrix. would it be a far stretch to say it might've seen Vietnam?
