Recently acquired. Appears to be original wood shaft, grip and butt cap. I'm told that it is worth approximately $3-5k and I paid FAR less than that for it.

The date looks to be 1926 but are you sure it is sterling silver? If so, it should have some identifying marks on it. If not, it is likely to be worth only the low tens of $, unless the other name on it has relevance.
@shroplad "STERLING" is stamped on the face. "Lambert Brothers Jewelers NEW YORK" is also stamped on the bottom. You are correct, it is 1926. I inadvertently typed 29.
I don't see a way to post additional photos in the comments section or I would upload pictures of the stamps.
One was sold at PBA Galleries in 2012 for $1,080. If you search for Walter Hagen silver putter you will find the link in the search results.
@shroplad Thank you. I greatly appreciate the info. I paid less than $100 for it so any amount north of that is exciting. My original post about $3-5k was based on an active Sotheby's listing in NY.
