    This may not look like much at first, but it is such an interesting bottle! It's glass, (I think!) and the maker of this bottle swirled fine black lines all around in an interesting smoke pattern.
    I was reading Henry Hitt's book and the bottle he describes on page 50 sounds very much like the pattern on this!
    Here's what he says:
    "Very puzzling decoration of fine black paint lines in series that loop from just under the surface down under in most intricate interesting patterns. The glass is translucent gray. "
    He also has a drawing of the pattern of the lines.

      Hi Hunter - if I'm correct about it being just like the one in Henry Hitt's book, it would be from the QianLong reign which was 1735-1799
