I have a lot of different boxes here, and know what each one was used for. This one I just got has me stumped? It is just thin ply wood, but it's very well strapped with metal and Rivas all the way around. The handles clip together and over clip the lid ( I don't have the lid, is probably where the label was ? ) it could have held military items? But seems a bit thin. Does anyone recognize what use this box would have had ?? Very well put together for sure! Thank you for your help. ME
